Concrete Ties provide wind and seismic anchorage. Duration of load increases of 33% and 60% are listed. Further increases are not allowed. Bolt and Nail loads are not additive. Allowable loads are predicated on: parallel to grain bolt loading; main member thickness of 3" for CT and 3-1/2" for CTH, and 2" nail penetration; concrete embedment of 4" for CT and 6" for CTH.
